The lower branches of this tree hang extremely low over the main school playground, this is restricting use of a large area of the playground due to H&S concerns of potential injury to children, particularly to the face and eyes. Reduce canopy by 30%, remove dead wood and epicormic growth on oak tree (T42) clearing adjacent property and to retain balanced crown. Fell and remove moribund oak tree (T44) with significant horizontal decay running along main stem degrading sound wood to the area within the main canopy providing additional threats. Ash tree. We have consulted North Cheshire Forestry Services who advised that the tree needs crown reduction to approx 5m and balancing up. Tree is blocking light from upstairs bedroom and lounge window. TPO 310E.

Tree Preservation Order Application: T1319 Sycamore - fell. This tree has basal decay and two weak forks at approximately 5m. This tree has had some works to remove branches due to fire damage and is now in poor form with little crown cover or aesthetic value. Replant with Rowan or similar. T2 Scots Pine and T3 Larch (in area G2) - fell. Both trees have poor form and low aesthetic value. T2 has lost one side of it's canopy. Both are forestry trees and have become too tall for their surroundings, leaving them vulnerable to windthrow. Replant with native conifers e.g. Yew, Juniper

The trees have been marked with yellow paint by the council last year. The dead trees need to be removed and the crowded trees uncrowded. Damaged and leaning trees need some work to make safe. One tree has half fallen in the gales. it is probably going to fall in the garden of No 6 Badger Brook Lane. could fall on the house depending on how it decides to fall. urgent attention needed ! The TPO is out of date as it applies to all the trees in the area. I believe most of my trees do not need a TPO as they are forestry not amenity. They are accessed from a private road have fencing all around the area and a locked gate. Forestry trees are for profit not to look at. The ground is very acidic and nothing will grow under them, unlike natural woodland. The old map of the area clearly shows the difference between woodland and forestry areas.
