To identify the tree of concern I have attached a Tree Survey File. On the drawing the tree is seen on the border of plot 2 and plot 3 labelled "Leylandii". Since the survey was completed the land has been sold for development and the resultant plots are slightly different resulting in the tree being on the very border of plot 2. I am the owner of plot 2. I will also include a few pictures of the tree. The tree is very large and over bearing. I would like to replace the tree with a number of smaller trees distributed around the plot. Design to be established by a landscape professional should approval be possible for the removal of the large tree,

T1 (TPO T15) Elm - Remove small branch (5cm dia) west at 3m and first lower limb (20cm dia) north at 4m, cutting back to main stem to maintain clearance from new dwelling. T2 Ash (TPO G7) - Remove trunk suckers up to 3m to clean stem. Lift canopy up to 6m overhanging new garage, cutting back to viable secondary growth points to maintain clearance. T5 Ash (TPO G7) - Reduce height by 2m, to leave 14m and reduce lateral limb overhanging neighbouring property south west by 5m, cutting back to viable, secondary growth points. Clean out to remove major deadwood (>50mm) and truncated branches. T9 (TPO G7) Ash - Remove branch at 11m extending north east over new dwelling, cutting back to main stem, to maintain clearance. T11 (TPO G7) Ash - Fell. Kretschmaria deusta present and associated decay to main stem significant. Suspected ash dieback. Historic limb failure, cavities and large sections of major deadwood. Due to proximity of adjacent tree population and proposed new landscaping associated with development site request to waive condition to replace ash tree (T11) proposed for removal.

T10 (TPO ref.G7) Ash - Fell. Extensive basal/stem decay progressing into main structural limbs of tree due to presence of fungi Inonotus hispidus. Signs and symptoms commonly associated with ash dieback - Hymenoscyphus fraxineus - include necrotic branch tips and dieback to periphery of main canopy. Due to proximity of adjacent tree population and proposed new landscaping associated with development site request to waive condition to replace ash tree (T10) proposed for removal.

Lime (T49) - excavation within root protection area (therefore possible pruning of roots) of this tree to allow installation of clean water infrastructure on behalf of Thames Water to enable utility laying for the new development site at land adjacent to Wilkinson Road. Lime (T50) - removal of this tree to allow installation of clean water infrastructure on behalf of Thames Water to enable utility laying for the new development site at land adjacent to Wilkinson Road. The existing clean water main has been found to be deep in this location, therefore the excavation to install the infrastructure on the existing main needs to be larger for the safety of the workers. Whitebeam (T51) - removal of this tree to allow installation of clean water infrastructure on behalf of Thames Water to enable utility laying for the new development site at land adjacent to Wilkinson Road. The existing clean water main has been found to be deep in this location, therefore the excavation to install the infrastructure on the existing main needs to be larger for the safety of the workers. Communication with the developer will commence to understand whether they are able to undertake replanting during their landscaping works of the site

Notice of intent to carry out works to tree protected by Tree Preservation Order 10/10 - The tree is a Lime tree which is a large mature tree with dense juvenile basal growth, it has a relatively large secondary stem and 5 smaller secondary stems. There is some damage to lower limbs overhanging the driveway and informal parking area beneath the canopy of this tree.The owners of 14 Derwent way would like the removal of this tree for a number of reasons: Firstly its appearance, it is of poor shape and has a lot of Basel growth. Secondly It is relatively close to the house and casts shade over their front garden. Thirdly, The tree drops a lot of twigs and branched onto their parking area / drive and therefore their cars. Finally, they wish to landscape their front garden and create more parking and turning space for vehicles, this tree prevents that development.
