Row of 3 x Copper Beech on the rear boundary - Remove significant deadwood from tree nearest the house. Fell remaining 2 Copper Beech trees to near ground level, due to having lost more than 50% of their crowns to dieback due to soil compaction as a result of construction work when the houses were built. Oak tree beside the house - reduce in size to leave approximately 11.0m tall (2.0m off the height) and with a radial crown spread of approximately 5.5m (1.5m off the spread). Eucalyptus in the corner by the pond - this tree has girdling roots and is dying back in the crown now 40% dead. Fell to near ground level and treat stump to discourage re-growth.

Removal of 4 cypress trees along property boundary. They have outgrown the space resulting excessive shading to new property currently under construction

See schedule tree survey - T1 Wild cherry - Situated on the boundary of the castle and at the entrance of Pettitree Cottage (the tree is owned by English heritage). The tree has grown over the driveway/entrance to Petistree Cottage and is in danger of becoming damaged by vehicles entering the site. The crown of the tree has also become congested with some crossing branches. Proposed work- reduce and reshape the crown (see image - Wild Cherry), remove any dead, damaged or dying wood. lightly thin the crown where appropriate. lift the crown over the driveway to avoid damage to overhanging branches. T4- Copper Beech - This tree has been pollarded in the past and now would benefit from being reduced again to avoid the new build and any damage that may accrue during construction. Proposed work - Reduce and reshape the crown to suitable active growth points near to where the tree was been previously reduced ( See images - Copper beech 1 & 2). Remove any dead, dying, damaged wood. Thin and lift the crown where appropriate.

Pruning of some of the hedges and boundary trees to allow the construction of a small kiosk (Approx. 0.9m w x 0.9m h x 0.6m)

T1 Cherry - Remove to facilitate proposed wall construction. T2 Phototropic False Acacia - Remove from boundary wall. T3, T4 & T5 Lime Trees - Re-pollard, the entire crowns shall be cut back to original pollard knuckle points within a conservation area

Cut overhanging branches back to fence line Tree 1 - Hazel multi stemmed tree leaning over fence and overhanging parking area . Reduce stem resting against fence line to reduce likehood of damage , also cut back overhanging branches around electric pole Tree 2 - Field Maple outgrown from boundary hedge and encroaching on construction work and scaffolding , lateral reduction of approx 1-2 m to give clearance Tree 3 - Beech crown lift to 3m above ground level over ground area
