Large sycamore tree right in front of the house next to fence bordering Elmsdown. The tree has outgrown its location despite previous pollarding and now needs felling. The tree encroaches on neighbours property and blocks all light to both houses when in full leaf. We intend to landscape the front garden and will replace with more suitable decorative trees.

Tree A - Silver Birch - removal of tree required as tree surgeon has confirmed that it is rotting from the top down due and will pose a danger if not removed. With young children, we do not want a fatality. HAR/CA21. Tree B (Fern) and Bush C (Holly) - we have recently received planning to extend the dwelling and as part of this work, we would like to landscape the garden. The fern and holly bush take up c.14 feet at the back of the garden and we are looking to remove these but replace them with new trees. The trees would be replaced with pleached holly trees (Nellie Stevens type). The fence is also rotten behind and will need replacing. The large Eucalyptus tree adjacent to the silver birch would remain but the crown reduced slightly as it is very high. A sketch idea of how the garden would look eventually is also included.

T34 - Sweet Chestnut - Reduction to crown by 1 - 1.5m or to a suitable growth point. This work has been specified by PGE landscaping on a tree survey report; I am struggling to justify or give any reasoning for this specification. I would prefer to lift crown to 2.5m from ground level and deadwood. Cedar branch to be removed from Silver Birch crown. Car park tree (Birch) has grown and now rubbing on cedar limb, remove limb or cut back to a suitable growth point. C/A Trees T18 - Holly - Coppice tree to 1m. This small tree has grown over fence and is heavily suppressed on one side.

T1-Conifer Fell root damage lifting driveway & disturbing wall, also interfering with with telegraph pole. planted in unsuitable location. T2-Small Holly fell unsuitable location in the way of fence line. T3-Cherry fell dead. T4-Small Conifer fell unsuitable location in the way of fence line. T5-Laurel fell unsuitable location in the way of fence line. T6-Holly Crown-lift approx 3-4 meters. Client landscaping garden & will be planting better specimens in better locations. HAR/CA26.

To the left of the house, between the corner and the boundary fence there is a small island of shrubs / small trees, none of which are particularly good specimens. They all requested to be removed to make way for a new garden layout, including new fence/paths and landscaping. The large variegated Holly and the Burgundy Berberis are to be retained. Then new more appropriate species are planned to be planted when landscaping is completed. T1- Buddleia ...remove/fell. T2 - Conifer / Thuja ... remove/fell. T3 - Hawthorn ... remove/fell. T4 - Lilac ... remove/fell. T5 - Holly ... remove/fell. T6 - Acer ... remove/fell T7 - Berberis - remove/fell. T8 - Euonymus ... remo ve/fell. T9 - Birch ...remove /fell, as there are concerns it is close to pavement/path, and it needs removing for new fence erection and landscaping/garden path.

T1Ash - Remove as has split down the trunk as well as showing signs of ash die back. It is situated in the back garden along the perimeter fence. As we are currently having building work carried out on the property and will be having the garden completely landscaped where new trees will be planted. We will be taking advice from a landscape gardener on what types of trees we can plant.

G1 Leylandii trees x 8 which have substantial die back. These trees have become unsightly and difficult to maintain. Removed trees to be replaced with close board fence and landscaping. The replacement planting with be in line with remainder of garden

We plan to cut down 4 Conifers which are located at the rear of our garden, along the fence line, they are not subject to TPO's. We have hired a landscape gardener who is undertaking all the work in the garden as well as employing a contractor to cut down the trees. We plan to replace these trees with different trees to grant us privacy from our neighbours. - HAR/CA15
