There is a single tree in the front garden. We would like to remove it entirely. This is so we can proceed with construction of an outdoor office space. I cannot say for certain which species of tree it is but I think it is Pinus Sylvestris.

Felling of "Grafted" Apple/Pear Hybrid. This tree is growing against the wall of 12 The Green, Great Horwood on the driveway side. This building is grade II listed. Reason(s) for removal: This wall has experienced previous structural movement. The foundations for buildings of this type and age are limited. Removal will help to keep the wall in a stable condition. This wall is experiencing high levels of damp penetration. Root stock is known to hold significant levels of moisture and this is transferred to the base of the traditional solid wall construction leading to damp penetration. Phased crown reduction, leading to removal of Yew. This Yew tree is very close to the rear of the house. Quote from building surveyors report "There is a large tree very close to the rear of the property and this is within influencing distance of the building and is a potential risk to the structural integrity of the property. It would be appropriate to draw up a programme of reduction and phased removal." This work has been discussed and planned with a local Arborist who looks after the other trees at this address. They indicate that it is best carried out over 2/3 years.

T1, Pear - Crown lift to gain clearance of 2m, remove dead branches and epicormic growth. T2, Apple - Remove epicormic growth, crown reduce to leave a radial canopy of 2m T3, Plum - Fell, grind stump if desired. T4, Apple - Crown reduce leaving a radial canopy of 2m. This will gain clearance from the proposed adjacent construction (plot 2, the orchard) which has full planning consent. T5, Hawthorn - Reduce in height (to 1.5m) and incorporate into proposed native hedge planting. T6, Sycamore - Crown lift to gain clearance of 2m, remove ivy. Ensure adequate protection if afforded to the south side of this tree during the adjacent construction. G1, Hawthorn and plum - Reduce in height (to 1.5m)and incorporate into proposed native hedge planting.

Cut overhanging branches back to fence line Tree 1 - Hazel multi stemmed tree leaning over fence and overhanging parking area . Reduce stem resting against fence line to reduce likehood of damage , also cut back overhanging branches around electric pole Tree 2 - Field Maple outgrown from boundary hedge and encroaching on construction work and scaffolding , lateral reduction of approx 1-2 m to give clearance Tree 3 - Beech crown lift to 3m above ground level over ground area
