There is a single tree in the front garden. We would like to remove it entirely. This is so we can proceed with construction of an outdoor office space. I cannot say for certain which species of tree it is but I think it is Pinus Sylvestris.

The tree in question is a sycamore, part of a line of trees at the bottom boundary of the garden at the Red House. The neighbours living on the other side of the line of trees have been worried about the condition of the tree and have asked us to arrange for it to be felled and replaced - to mitigate the risk of it being blown down in a storm and causing significant damage. I have attached an additional three documents which set out the situation and provide some supporting evidence. When we worked with the council last year, to pollard a tree, the judgement was that whilst these trees were in a conservation area, there were no TPOs applying to them. T1: Leylendii. Removal to ground level. Tree is too close to boundary wall and neighbouring property. There is also a proposal to install a garden office where the tree is currently.
