One yew tree 7.1m tall - reduction by 3.5m Removal of 7.1m tall yew tree (point 3) - this tree is situated on the corner of the crossroads. It requires continued maintenance for road user safety. The tree blocks a considerable amount of natural light and skyline from the house. It is dark and oppressive, and this is impacting the mental health of a member of the household. This tree is fast growing and ongoing maintenance is at a considerable cost.

Lime Tree- fell because falling limbs are a danger and have already dented two cars this year. It has for the first time this year it exuded a sticky substance constantly and not as is usual, just when it is coming into flower. This has made a mess of the cars and attracted 5 wasp nests in the eves of the house. There is also a large hollow about 6metres up the main trunk which may not show on the photos. I am also concerned that if we had some very high winds and it blows down it would fall across the house. It is a lovely tree and it would be a shame to completely remove it, but I fear for our safety and the safety of others passing up the drive, for which I may be liable.
