Willowford House High Street Thornborough Buckinghamshire MK18 2DH

We wish to prune a sycamore tree on our garden boundary with the pedestrian path on Back Street. We would like to employ a local Tree Surgeon to reduce the tree by 30% (2m) as it has grown significantly in size since it's last pruning and is close to the path and our house.

The White Cottage 2 Bulls Lane Ickford Buckinghamshire HP18 9HR

I. A sketch plan is attached, numbering trees 5 to 7 shown with green circles. WP3 and WP4 are indicated on the northern boundary. None of these trees is subject to a TPO. II. The sketch plan has been added to a copy the Land Registry plan, which shows the cottage and Ickford House as a single unit bordered in red. These have recently been split awaiting formal registration application submitted in April 2022. This application relates to the cottage only which includes the allotment on the northern side of Bulls Lane III. The sketch plan adds the boundary of the Little Ickford conservation area IV. Tree No. 5 a. Lime tree b. To be felled. This tree has outgrown its plot, and is crowding out the apple tree adjacent to it. It has a very dense canopy, which prevents growth underneath. Permission was granted to fell in 2018 your ref: 18/02945/ATC, but I was unable to do this at the time. I had the canopy raised, but this has made only a marginal difference to the health of the existing apple tree. V. Trees no. 6 & 7 and W3 and W4 a. Willows b. Pollarding. We are seeking recurrent permission to pollard these four trees on a regular basis now and in the future. I will schedule this work for AW 2022 and at the same time will replant the allotment with x4 new apple trees, a quince and a damson. The plot will be managed for wildlife, with access to the village pond reopened and the western end returned to short grass to encourage ducks to return, with long grass at the eastern end. The hedge to the south will be laid and maintained at half its current height, and the ditches to the north and south of the plot dug and kept clear. There are grass snakes and newts, and I am keen to encourage as much biodiversity in this plot as possible, whilst returning it to low maintenance productivity complementing the existing x1 apple and x1 mulberry.

29 Baker Street Waddesdon Buckinghamshire HP18 0LG

HI, I am the current owner of Old Manor Cottage, 29 Baker Street Waddesdon which is an 1875 cottage with very shallow foundations on a clay ground so it is subject to instability. There are two large conifer trees at the front of my garden that as you face the property are to the right hand side of it. These trees are approximately 2 metres + higher than my property and are causing two issues. They caused historical subsidence in 2003 before I owned the property which needed them to be pruned to stop the roots growing underneath, this took place before 29 Baker Street was included within the conservation area in 2014.( See details from the website : Areas added in the 2014 Conservation Area Review. The 1990 boundary cut through the grounds of 27a and 29 Baker Street. For the sake clarity and in order to avoid confusion the boundary has been extended to include the whole of the grounds of these properties.) I purchased the property in June 2020 and toward the end of last year started experiencing new subsidence issues, we had the ground surveyed by a company called Geobear and found that the issues were as stated above the house is on shallow foundations with an unstable clay underneath and this was being exacerbated by the tree roots growing underneath the house and sucking the moisture out of the clay. They carried out works to drill down to 2 metre depth every 500mm along the front of the house and along the right hand side up to the rear extension and resin inject under the house to stabilise it. They recommended once these works were complete that I could then go ahead and get the conifer trees pruned to reduce the possibilities of any further issues. So consequently I have contacted Bucks Tree Surgeons, Weedon Road, Aylesbury, HP19 9PB. Josh Tel: 01296 392197 Mobile: 07701392197 with a view to having the trees pruned, they have visited an recommended Crowning the two conifer trees by approximately 2 metres in height and also to trim the branches away fr...

Dunstall Lodge Thornborough Road Padbury Buckinghamshire MK18 2AH

We wish to enhance the garden by taking a measured approach to caring for the trees and hedges. We have spoken with Claydon Tree & Garden Services, who we know has been used for other tree work in Padbury. T1 - raise canopy of Pine, branches up to 3m and remove dead branches T2 - raise canopy of Horse Chestnut, branches up to 3m T3 - remove fallen branch of dead tree. T4, T5 & T8 - remove Leylandiis approx 3m in height which block light to garden. T6 - remove Laburnum approx 4m in height which is growing against house with roots under house which is potential destabling. T7 - removed dead Elm. Reduce by 30% row of Leylandiis approx 3m in height which block light to house and are very close to it. Reduce driveway Yew and Leylandii hedge to approx 1.5 m in height to encourage growth. Clear shrubbery area which is overgrown and includes a fallen Lilac and a Yew stump. Reduce Laurel bush and Yew bush (which currently get no light) to encourage growth. Over time, reduce by 50% mixed hedge around boundary of property (marked in green) to thicken hedge and encourage growth.

Pointers View Lower Way Padbury Buckinghamshire MK18 2AX

The propertys front boundary consists of a brickbuilt wall. The wall leans out towards the road due to pressure from the roots of two large Poplar trees situated within close proximity to the wall. Since moving to the property in November 2021, the current owners have been investigating options for repairing the wall and making it safe. The local Parish Council have questioned the safety of the wall on behalf of residents particularly concerned as it is on a main route to the local primary school. Buckinghamshire Council Building Control have inspected the wall and opened a Dangerous Structure case citing the close proximity of mature trees as a major contributing factor. Options for repairing the wall without removing the trees have been explored. It has been advised that replacing the wall with a reinforced structure would be prohibitively expensive and would require ongoing repair due to continuing pressure from the tree roots. The local highway authority has advised that works must not encroach on the verge so erecting buttresses or creating a natural bank will not be possible. At approximately 80 ft high the two trees have grown beyond normal expectations for a garden setting. In addition to compromising the retaining wall they pose a risk to the house and neighbouring properties if damaged in high winds. It has been advised that topping or pollarding the trees would stimulate root growth creating further pressure on the wall. It is also understood that the removal of these trees would benefit a protected Chestnut tree at Holly Hill. Removal of the two trees is requested in order to repair the wall, without the ongoing root pressure and make this area safe. Native trees or hedgerow of a more suitable scale would be planted in their absence.

Garden Cottage Upper Street Tingewick Buckinghamshire MK18 4QL

The tree in question is a silver birch. The tree is now between 15 and 20m tall, located in the middle of the garden. It presents a danger to the house (which is less than 15m away). It also prevents our plans for solar panels on the south facing garage roof to the rear (subject to heritage permission as we are a grade II listed building), and it is far too large for the location it currently occupies. When planted, the tree was at the end of the garden (hence the boundary of the conservation area was set at the end of the original garden. Since then however the garden has been extended, and the tree has grown to a height out of proportion with its location in the garden. Our plan is to replace this tree with two much smaller ornamental cherry trees, which will be kept at the same height as the apple trees on the other side of the path (see photo 3) around 3-5 meters high. We will take down the tree, and use the majority of the canopy for mulch within our garden. Once the root is ground out the new trees will be planted. We have taken advice from Nick Hanks at Greensleeves Estate and Countryside management who has done work on the tree in the past, but taking height out of the tree will leave it misshapen, as its not a species that responds well to having the canopy reduced, and as we would like to fit solar panels over the next couple of years, this work would be a precursor to any solar work being successful. The work to remove the tree will be done by Greensleeves and the timing of the work also agreed with Greensleeves to avoid any sensitive times of year, particularly nesting season.

57 Creslow Way Stone Buckinghamshire HP17 8YN

Would like to fell conifer in back garden (labelled T1) as a result of it now leaning at approx. 60 degrees back toward the house such that if it were to fall naturally there could be damage to one or multiple of the main house building / fencing / neighbours property. A replacement conifer would be planted to the front of the house where there is an existing row of small conifers lining the property boundary with the footpath (replacement position labelled in sketch). Would like to also fell a crab apple tree in the front garden (labelled T2) due to proximity to main house building and to therefore open up the front garden space and reduce shading caused by the tree (approx 4 meters tall). A further replacement conifer or similar would be planted to the front of the house where there is an existing row of small conifers lining the property boundary with the footpath (replacement position labelled in sketch).
