Beech Tree T15 Picture 1 shows the tree (fully mature 60 feet high) in relation to the driveway (access for all residents on the site). The branches to be reduced are circled, and are rather separate from the main canopy, which will be unaffected by this work. Only about three or four metres of the lowest three branches would be affected. These branches are often struck by large vehicles entering the properties at Stockgrove Park House. Pictures 2 and 3 show these in close up.

T1 Cherry. Remove tree because it is diseased and declining

Beech to front of property - crown reduce by approximately 2 m all round and re-balance crown.

Mixed broadleaf, crown raise or reduce to create 0.5m clearance from the overhead cables and 1.5m clearance above the hedge to allow continued healthy growth. Lime, two mature trees previously pollarded with around 5 years regrowth, Re-pollard to near previous points. Variegated Maple, reverted, low vitality, Fell to near ground level.

T1 Silver birch, re-reduce birch tree by approximately 4 metres. T2 Ash, remove stem from Ash tree nearest the house and reduce back remaining crown by 2 metres on garden side. T3 Walnut, reduce back 3 overextended limbs on garden side by approximately 2 metres.

T7 Ash - Shorten the long low branch back to the denser growth 3-4 out from the trunk T26 Horse Chestnut - All over crown reduction to previous cuts T33a Sycamore - Fell T48 Beech - Remove weak extended branch T57 Sycamore - Take down large dead branch and dead wood and rubbing branches T83 Bird Cherry - Fell

Robinia x 2 (RB1 & RB2 on sketch), crown to be reduced by 30% (ie to previous cuts). Leylandii hedge to be reduced by 1/3 in height, and inner face trimmed. Works to be carried out by Turneys Landscapes Ltd.

G1 - Crownlift TPO'd Yew trees by 1m. Reduce them away from the lawn by 1-2m Work is to maintain a walkway underneath the trees, inline with H&S.

We plan to reduce the neighbouring cherry by approximately 1-2m to take it back from overhanging the garden. The hazel on the boundary of No1 Cross Road is also to be reduced by 1-2m I actually think this would fall under the 75mm diameter at 1.2m height anyway. The final task would be to coppice the hazel at the rear of the rear garden. I actually believe this falls just outside the conservation boundary looking at the portal maps. The reason for the coppicing is to allow better regeneration, habitat for the wildlife and be able to maintain at a more suitable size for the location of the tree.
