Group T1: Small dead elms, fell T2: Hazel, (shown in photo 1), we would reduce by approximately 2.5 - 3m to bring back in line with the kerb. All branches pruned will be cut to suitable growth points. T3: Large dead tree, approx. 12 metres tall (difficult to identify a species), fell T4: Ash (fraxinus excelsior), to reduce the branches extending over the roof of Elizabeth house by approximately 3m. This will help mitigate the chance of large branch failure, as these branches are on a co-dominant stem of the ash tree, that is leaning in the direction of the building. T5: Windblown dead hawthorn, fell Group T6: Approximately 8 Oaks (quercus robur) and 1 sweet chestnut (castenea sativa). All roughly 18-22m tall. These trees are all over hanging the roof, and in many cases multiple branches are touching the roof of Elizabeth House. We would like to reduce these branches laterally by 2.5-3m, and in doing so create a 3 metre clearance of the roof. We would also remove deadwood over the roof of the building. T7: Declining, ivy clad hawthorn. Situated on the steep bank behind Elizabeth House, this tree is leaning towards the building and is in a state of decline, with around 20% leaf coverage of the canopy. It is tall for a hawthorn at approximately 8m in height, with a 2m spread. We would like to fell this tree to mitigate the potential hazard. T8: Oak (quercus robur), approximately 19 metres in height. To remove hazardous deadwood and also to reduce the lowest 2 branches by 2m. These branches are a little over-extended, protrude significantly from the canopy line of the tree, and are over the busiest area of the business premises, with the bin area, and frequent activity beneath them. I feel the reduction is justified considering the frequency of targets below. N.B I would have included more photos in the application, but all of the photos I have taken of the trees, apart from the one of the hazel, are over the 10 megabyte limit

I have 5 Leylandii trees at the front of my property we would like to have permission to remove reasons being: 1... We have had previous subsidence on our property , from a neighbouring Leylandii in 2004, 3.5 metres away from our property. The tree was removed and subsidence resolved. 2... The 5 trees we would like to remove are now causing the following issues for us. (a) There are a number of large roots growing across the top of the ground and just under the ground very close to our property. They have lifted our patio area just outside our front door. Which we have now just replaced. We are very worried these trees are going to cause further subsidence to our property. The trees are very large and so close to our house. The closest tree being just 3.5 meters away from the house, with a circumference of 2.8 meters. The estimate height of the trees being taller than a two storey house. (b) ..The trees are cutting out the neighbour's and our light. (c)...The trees are restricting and damaging larger vehicles travelling down the lane. (d)...It is becoming more difficult for us to get house insurance to cover subsidence due to the location of the trees. 3...Once the trees are removed, we would like to put up a 6ft tall closeboard Fence for security and in keeping with what the neighbours in the lane already have. We would then plant a hedge in front of the fence by the lane side for greenery for wildlife. tree 1. T1 Oak: fell (replacement planting proposed). T2 Walnut: crown reduce limbs overhanging the bungalow roof by 6m. Reduce the northerly limb over the house to the forks 2m from the trunk and reduce the west facing limbs back to the fork 5m from the trunk.

4 large Conifer trees labelled 1-4 on the sketch plan. The plan is to remove them down to ground level . They are blocking significant amounts of light and are disrupting the driveway of Andway Cottage, two nearby fences and the shed of 3 Paynes Meadow. They appear to be the only conifer trees on 3 Paynes Meadow and Andway Cottage properties; other trees nearby on Pyotts Hill all appear to be deciduous so they seem out of place in comparison. See conifer tree photos document. 1 Hazel tree (tree 5) & 4 Beech trees - labelled 6-9 on the sketch plan. The plan is to remove them down to ground level. They are very close to the house, less than a meter, and are blocking significant amounts of light and overhanging the roof of Andway Cottage contributing to moss growth on the roof and blocked gutters. T1 Silver birch: Lift low branches from one Silver Birch to rear corner of house to give 1.5 m clearance from roof. T2 Copper beech: Lift branches from one Copper Beach to give 1.5m clearance from house roof.

T1 - Oak Tree , to reduce the three lowest lateral limbs (as indicated in the attached photo) away from the side of the house and roof by approximately 3 meters to suitable secondary growth points, to give an approximate clearance of 2.5 meters and remove any major deadwood (diameter >25mm) from the house side of the crown only.

- Fell one eucalyptus tree in front garden, growing at a dangerous angle and signs of basil decay. - Crown lift and cut back to boundary four ash trees on east side of house, these are currently overhanging the boundary fence and to reduce the chance of squirrels getting onto roof and subsequently causing damage in loft space. - On roadside crown lift group of hazel and maple to 5.5 metres which are encroaching on the lane and to trim back away from electricity cables. - On roadside remove one limb from one ash tree which is over hanging garage.

1. Willow. Crown reduction from 20m to 9 m (approx) by removing new growth since last crown reduction. Spread will reduce to 6m in all directions. This will increase morning sun on the house and protect outbuilding roof and The Mead.

T1/T2/T3 Yew: Raise crown to 3.5m above ground level, crown reduction of 2m leaving a finished hieght of approximately 10m with a radius of 4m .Any elongated branches which are near to the roof of the house to be cut back to prevent structural damage . T4/T5 Willow (dead): Fell.
