We will be replacing the replace the existing Thorn 2000W metal halide luminaires with BVP528 Philips OptiVision Gen 3.5 LED 1303w floodlight luminaires, which have a significantly lower energy requirement. The previous application was to replace the existing Thorn 2000W metal halide luminaires with Philips OptiVision Gen3.5 LED 1500w luminaires. Note, as per the original application, the existing lighting is manually switched (i.e. controlled by a light switch, rather than photo-sensor or time clock) and is on no later than 11pm. Further, we wish to amend the application to include for permanent floodlighting columns in the northern and southern training areas (immediately north and south of the main pitch). Currently, mobile floodlights are used.
