Alterations and refurbishment to convert existing retail unit into 4 apartments and 2 retail units with new shopfront and new window openings to North elevation

Change of use and alterations of existing shop and storage areas to form four flats and installation of new shop front

Non material amendment of application 21/01172/FUL: Alterations to the ground floor internal layout to form a refuse and recycling storage area serving the new upper floor apartments. Adjustments have been made to the retail unit layout to accommodate this. A proposed new door opening to the rear facade has been omitted and replaced with a small ventilation grille.

Conversion of the upper three floors to residential use (1 apartment per floor). Refurbishment and alteration comprising: Installation of a new shopfront to the ground floor retail unit. Internal alterations to the ground floor retail unit. Creation of a new ground floor access leading to upper floor levels of the building. Installation of new windows, doors and rooflights. Re-roofing works. Demolition/removal works internally to form new floor layouts at each level.

Demolition of existing buildings and construction of 5 retail units with 16 residential flats above at 196, 198, 200, 202 and 204 Barkerend Road, and alterations to 194 to create disabled w/c for retail unit at 196 Barkerend Road
