Notice of intent to carry out works to trees in a Conservation Area: T1 Apple Tree- Reduce crown height by upto 2.5 m and cut sides upto 1.5m H1 Assorted trees- Cut overhanging branches back to boundary of garden

Variation of Condition 2 (Approved Plans) & Condition 3 (Surface Water Drainage) of approved application 22/01147/FUL granted 25.10.2022 for: A new 400/132 kilovolt (kV) Grid Supply Point (GSP) substation including two supergrid transformers, associated buildings, equipment and switchgear, a single circuit cable sealing end compound, a new permanent vehicular access to the public highway, associated landscaping (including boundary fencing, an area for Biodiversity Net Gain, and landscape mounding) and drainage. Condition 2:- Would allow a reduction of substation footprint , improved cable alignment, rationalisation of the number and location of buildings, revised position and alignment of the supergrid transformer gantry moving it further from the A131. Condition 3 to be reworded to amend the SUDs trigger point.

T2 - Silver Birch Tree - Roadside - Reduce by 2-3m in height give clearance to lamp post. T3 - Cherry Tree - Roadside - Reduce by 3-4m, to control size of tree for location. T4 - Cherry Tree - Left hand boundary - Reduce by approx 2m overall, tree is diseased and has extensive amount of deadwood in crown, reduce to reduce threat of limb failure. T5- Walnut Tree - Neighbours Tree Left hand Boundary - Crown Lift over lawn up to 4m above ground level. To let more light into the garden and ease access for mowing grass. T6 - Copper Beech tree - rear garden - Reduce branches growing towards towards House to give clearance of 2-3m. To keep Tree free of the building for the foreseeable future.

Retention of change of use of land from agricultural land to part residential garden, part paddock. Retention of outbuilding and proposed changes to outbuilding including change in roof form, changes to fenestration and erection of extension. Erection of boundary treatment.

Retention of the dwelling as constructed; alterations to brick boundary wall to front of site; alterations to entrance gate (including relocating 6m back from edge of highway); proposed landscaping (including hedges to front and side boundaries, and 11no. trees), and proposed retention of underground septic tank.
