Notice of intent to carry out works to tree in a Conservation Area - We witnessed in the recent storms that the ground was moving where the roots were close to the surface, and the trunk was moving (with the wind) very low to the ground. We are worried that the tree will be uprooted should there be another storm, and when it falls it would damage a fence/wall and potentially a carport. We have had a tree surgeon look at it. He confirmed that the tree look healthy but accepted it doesn't mean that the roots underneath won't have been put under pressure in the storm, so suggested we advise you before he lopsThe proposal is that the tree is taken down by c 50%

Notice of intent to carry out works to a tree in a Conservation Area - Holly tree is approx 30ft and would like to reduce to 6ft and reduce all over by 6ft. There is an overgrown holly bush on the farside of our fenced garden boundary. The tree is so overgrown that it is very pushing against/breaking the fence structure it is growing against and has grown out of control in height blocking light. We have been in touch with a tree surgeon who agrees it needs to be cut back significantly into control.

Notice of intent to carry out works to trees in a Conservation Area - Cut back 25 linear metres of overhanging hedge-line back to the fence line up to 4m from ground level. 1no sycamore tree to crown reduce by 25%. The current lateral spread of the tree is approximately 12m from centre point and the tree will be reduce by 3m all round in order to leave balanced.

Notice of intent to carry out works to trees in a Conservation Area - Lime - two lower limbs of the lime tree in question I would be looking to remove as the garden backing on to the tree are concerned that the limbs could fall and damage the fence, they are also causing excessive shading on the garden preventing smaller trees from growing. Sycamore - This tree has been been pollarded before so I suggest a re pollard, the tree is completely blocking any light into neighbouring gardens and excessive leaf fall is also a problem, as it is close to a garage as well. I feel as if the re pollard will take some weight out of the overhanging limbs.

Trees were reduced in height for a previous planning permission now want to remove trees altogether due to unsightly nature. The boundary due to ours and recent neighbour works has a 6ft fence along it for the majority of the length, which replaces the need for the trees. Some trees have been badly affected by years of neglect prior to our arrival and have decay. See sketch 1 for details.

To prevent future damage to services, Plum (T2) - Fell to ground level and remove stump. To prevent future damage to out building, Holly (T3) - Fell to ground level and remove stump. To allow light to flower bed below, Apple trees (G1) - Maintenance prune. Reduce over extended laterals by approximately 1.5M. To maintain size and improve fruit production, Apple (T4) - Fell to ground level and remove stump. To allow for new outbuilding, Budlia (T5) - Fell to ground level and remove stump. To prevent further damage to boundary fence.
