1. There is a yew tree (T14) between our house at 18 Hazeldene Meads and the adjacent property at 16 Hazeldene Meads. It is now overgrown and is almost touching the two houses. We are concerned about the roots affecting the property at 16 Hazeldene Meads where the property was recently extended to become close to the boundary fence. At 18 Hazeldene Meads, it is affecting the light into our property and will encroach onto the roof and cause damage if allowed to grow. T14 Yew - Reduce in height by approx. 2m so that the top of the tree is at the same level as the adjacent gutter of 18 Hazeldene meads. Prune the sides of the tree to give 1m clearance of the properties on either side. T15 Silver Birch - Reduce the size of the crown by a maximum of 1.5m and remove dead wood.

T1 Elm - The tree is presenting problems for the builders repairing the chimneys. Scaffolding is up above the roof and the problem was not previously foreseen. The tree is too tall also for the proximity to the house. We prepose a 4m reduction in height.

Common Ash. (Fraxinus Excelsior) To reduce all areas of the upper middle and lower canopy of tree by a maximum of 1.5-metres. To thin all aspects of the inner canopy by a maximum of 15% To remove all dead and diseased. Reason for proposed works. - The tree is situated very close to the house and is now interfering with the roof and gutters.

T14 Beech overhanging the pavement and road - Remove the lowest branches to raise the crown to a height of approx 5m and reduce the length of the longest limb protruding over the road by 2.5m T1 Ash overhanging the road - Raise crown to 3m over pavement T13 Beech on corner of the house - Reduce crown away from the roof line by 2.5m and blend in to the surrounding crown to retain the natural character of the tree.

Fell Sycamore in rear - excessive shading; overhangs house; excessive fouling by birds and squirrels; excessive sap on conservatory roof and glass. I don't wish to replace, but, would like to keep part of the trunk. I think our garden is sinking as the tree takes all the moisture.

T1 Sycamore on rear boundary- thin lower crown and prune back lateral limbs off roof to give 1-2m clearance. Reduce remaining crown by 2m and thin density of branches by 10%. T2 Sycamore overhanging the properties at the rear- reduce the size of the crown by 2m and thin the density of branches by 10% T3 & T4 - 2No. Sycamores nearest the house- remove basal growth and reduce the size of the crown by 1.5 m The proposed work is part of an ongoing maintenance schedule to keep the trees appropriate to their location in close proximity to adjacent property and buildings.
