The client is currently refurbing their garden area with plans to build an office space to the rear of the garden by items G5 & T4 so are aiming to clear the surrounding vegetation for the works. Item T3 is situated between 2 garden sheds and is starting to get too large for its location with the client growing increasingly concerned on branches/limbs falling and causing damage. The remaining items (T2 And G1) are to create a more open garden space. There are various other trees and shrubs growing up the boundary lines within the garden so the suggested works would have little impact on the amenity value of the garden and surrounding area.

Erection of detached single storey garden office building in rear garden and to fell 1no. ornamental tree in the rear garden.

To supply Ground Control Team NPTC/Lantra Qualified Arb Team using chainsaws, chipper, and rope/harness technique, who will attend site and carry out the following scope of works. Set up a safe working zone using cones, barriers, and signs as appropriate. - T1-Crown Reduction unidentified species approx. height of tree 18metres, using rigging reduce approx. 2 metre overall from the growing tip to lateral crown. Removal of any deadwood over 50mm in diameter from canopy and epicormic growth up to 2m on the main trunk. (Reason) Due to tree encroachment. Location - car park near sample office. - T2-Prune unidentified tree, cut back limbs resting on spotlights and camera, reduce by approx.2 metre overall from the growing tip to lateral crown.

Rear Garden of Office T1 - Sycamore Fell as close to ground level as possible. Apply systemic herbicide to stump to prevent re-growth. The tree is being felled because the roots are growing into and under the building causing structural damage. ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY. Subject to agreement with Harewood Court regarding debris removal via their property

T1 Sumac- Fell REASON: Home owners are worried the roots will c ause damage to the office building

CHERRY (T1) : reduce height by 2.5m. Reduce spread towards window and Royal Mail Sorting Office. Reason : the tree is hitting the Royal Mail lorries and shading the house

T2 mature Elm - Fell to as close to ground level, grind/remove stump & replace with an Ulmus species, 10/12cm girth or other suitable species/final location to be agreed with LPA. Refer to supporting documentation attached to application for internal decay detection results and recommendation. T1 mature Elm - remove three tertiary branches belonging to branch at 5m to south (locations of final pruning cuts indicated in annotated photo) in order to achieve 5.5m clearance on south side of tree (approx. 2m south of trunk) to accommodate site office/welfare containers. T34 semi mature Sycamore - remove branches located in lower south side of canopy (locations of final pruning cuts as indicated in annotated picture) in order to achieve 6m clearance on south side of tree to accommodate site office/welfare containers.
