In the attached sketch, it is requested that work be carried out on tree T3 (Yew). As with previous requests, we would like to perform (1) Crown Thinning 25% and, (2) Crown Lifting up to a maximum of 1 metre.

T103 Lime. Old tear out wound approx 7m southern side main stem. Significantly elongated, wind exposed crown. Reduce height by approx 8m. Reduce radial width to south and east to balance. Replace with Sorbus sp. 12/14cm girth, approx 3m, containerised. Standard tree. Similar location to felled tree. T125 Oak. Reduce height from approx 12 to 10m. Radial spread to n, s, e, w approx 8 to 6m. T127 Laburnum. Basal decay - Ganoderma bracket present. Remove dead, reduce crossing limbs to south approx 1.5m. reduce end weight remaining limbs by no more than 0.5-1m sufficient to retain tree safely.

T1 elm. Lost limb sudden limb drop 4-6 weeks ago. Reduce remaning crown to rebalance. Western crown reduce 8-5m radially. Southern crown 6-4m radially. East 5-3.5m radially. Height 14-12m.

T1 Sycamore- reduce top height down by 1.5 meters to cut points from previous pruning. Reasons- promote healthy compact tree

T1 - Ash - prune back to boundary fence by approximately 8 metres and away from the property by approximately 8 metres to growth points - to clear property and fence.

Please refer to the drawings and documents attached. The works involve the removal of 6 trees and replace with 8 trees. There is also canopy reductions on a number of trees as noted in the report. The trees shown for removal are due to the need to provide a tarmac parking area to improve the amenity benefit to the project. The parking areas are currently a gravelled area and thus tarmac creates a problem for the trees with cars parking underneath and within root zones. The tree species are noted on the plan. We propose replacement trees as noted on drawing number 1815-P-010 A and their species is also noted on the drawing.
