1. There is a yew tree (T14) between our house at 18 Hazeldene Meads and the adjacent property at 16 Hazeldene Meads. It is now overgrown and is almost touching the two houses. We are concerned about the roots affecting the property at 16 Hazeldene Meads where the property was recently extended to become close to the boundary fence. At 18 Hazeldene Meads, it is affecting the light into our property and will encroach onto the roof and cause damage if allowed to grow. T14 Yew - Reduce in height by approx. 2m so that the top of the tree is at the same level as the adjacent gutter of 18 Hazeldene meads. Prune the sides of the tree to give 1m clearance of the properties on either side. T15 Silver Birch - Reduce the size of the crown by a maximum of 1.5m and remove dead wood.

Front Garden, Adjacent to the Garage T1 - Macrocarpa Remove major dead and diseased wood, 25mm in diameter and over. Remove 2 to 3 low limbs over the solar panels. Remove limb on the east side. Reduce the top section by 2 to 3 metres. Front Garden, Garage T2 - Small Macrocarpa Fell smaller tree growing through T1 Front Garden, Front Boundary T3 - Beech Remove major dead and diseased wood, 25mm in diameter and over. Front Garden, Adjacent to the Garage G4 - 2 x Cypress Fell as close to ground level as possible. Adjacent to the Pool T5 - Pittosporum Remove the stem over the pool, prune round to reduce overall size. Rear of Caf? T6 - Cypress Reduce height by 3 to 4 metres and shape top. ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY. The subject trees are located in a domestic front garden and are in need of some remedial pruning, this will help to retain them at a suitable size for their location. With growth encroaching onto properties the suggested works will reduce this problem and also improve the light fall to the solar panels located on the garage roof. The proposal is unlikely to have an adverse impact either on the health of the tree or the character and amenities of the local area

T1 Sycamore on rear boundary- thin lower crown and prune back lateral limbs off roof to give 1-2m clearance. Reduce remaining crown by 2m and thin density of branches by 10%. T2 Sycamore overhanging the properties at the rear- reduce the size of the crown by 2m and thin the density of branches by 10% T3 & T4 - 2No. Sycamores nearest the house- remove basal growth and reduce the size of the crown by 1.5 m The proposed work is part of an ongoing maintenance schedule to keep the trees appropriate to their location in close proximity to adjacent property and buildings.
