3 Clermont Terrace Brighton Brighton & Hove BN1 6SH

cherry tree over 30 years old in front garden, very close to pavement which is diseased and dying. We are concerned about its safety particularly in high winds/bad weather and would like permission to have it removed asap. There is another cherry tree, immediately next to the above cherry tree which has grown from scratch, from a cherry stone which fell off the original cherry tree and germinated and is now a full grown tree which is currently healthy.

23 Lewes Crescent Brighton Brighton & Hove BN2 1GB

T1: The silver birch tree is damaging the surrounding original paving and pathways, causing cracking and upheaval, and its roots are also a concern for the under-garden vaults below and are a likely cause of the ingress of water to these areas. There is the likelihood further damage to these vaults and pathways if left unaddressed. T2: The Elder is a young self-sown tree that is growing right against the boundary wall between 23 and 24 Lewes Crescent, causing damage to the wall and the pathway in the garden of 23 Lewes Crescent. As with T1, its roots are also likely to be causing problems with water ingress into the under garden vaults below. We are applying to remove both of these trees before we do any further work to the garden and vaults below. Please see attached a sketch plan.

26 Dyke Road Avenue Brighton Brighton & Hove BN1 5LB

T1 - Cedar Reduce height down to a finished height of approx 12m. Reduce lower over extended limbs by 4 to 5m. Remove any broke / snapped branches. The subject tree is a twin stem mature cedar that forks at 5m. From a basic inspection the tree looks healthy if not very one sided. There has been a new family moved into number 24 and there has been increasing worry from both client and neighbour that should the tree have any sort of major failure, whether that be limbs failing or the tree falling, that it could possibly cause substantial damage. The intended works are to reduce the height to a finished height of approximately 12m and reducing limbs by 4 to 5m. The tree lends itself very well to the specification as there is an obvious secondary inner crown to prune to.
