T1-Horse Chestnut: Fell and replant with a suitable replacement elsewhere in the school grounds. The tree is growing incredibly close to the northern garage wall and the house. Fell the tree due to being an unsuitable species to be so close to the garage and house. At this stage it has low amenity value ( The tree is a young self seeded tree 8m high with a stem diameter of approx 20cm) and would need constant management to retain so close to both buildings. Replant with another native species further from the house and garage where it could be left to develop to maturity with minimal need for further management.

T1- Elm tree- reduce top lateral branches by a maximum of 3 meters and southern and eastern lateral branches by a maximum of 5 meters This tree has a misshapen crown and is weighted to the south and east as there was another tree that it grew alongside to the north, this tree has died and now the elm does not have the shared crown space that it once had and is this heavily weighted and missing its counterbalance to the north and west. Group 1- 8 juvenile sycamore saplings (all just over 10/15cms at 1.3 meters high)- fell to ground level- too close to garage retaining wall.

Adjacent to the Pool T5 - Pittosporum Remove the stem over the pool, prune round to reduce overall size. Rear of Caf? T6 - Cypress Reduce height by 3 to 4 metres and shape top. ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY. The subject trees are located in a domestic front garden and are in need of some remedial pruning, this will help to retain them at a suitable size for their location. With growth encroaching onto properties the suggested works will reduce this problem and also improve the light fall to the solar panels located on the garage roof. The proposal is unlikely to have an adverse impact either on the health of the tree or the character and amenities of the local area

T1 Sycamore- Reduce in height by approx. 4m. Prune back radial spread all around by approx. 2.5-3 m. Remove low trunk growth and major deadwood. The tree owner expressed concern that in autumn the leaves block the highway storm drain and rainwater cascades down his drive into his garage and house

L1 Sycamore. Reduce tree in back left of garden by 3 metres (30%) to allow more light into both clients garden and neighbours also reducing away from house) L2 Ash. Reduce tree by 1 metre (10%) back away from house. All deadwood to be removed also). R1 Ash. Reduce tree in back right of garden by 2 metres (20%) to allow more light and remove all dead branches ensuring tree is healthy throughout. G 3 & G4 Sycamore. Lift canopy of both Sycamore trees overhanging garage. L3 Conifer tree to be removed from fence line. L4 Overhanging ash branches over fence line to be removed.

Elm (T53) Remove small lower limb over garage. Reduce second lowest limb back to previous reduction point from over garage.

G1 Monterey cypress Row (front north side)- Cut back overhang to garage by approx. 2m. Remove x2 low branches over drive as discussed. T2 Goat willow- Fell to ground level and treat stump with systemic herbicide T4 Western Red Cedar- Remove low branch over lawn on 1st tree REASON: To reduce overhang to garage and planned extension & to allow scaffold erection. Also to lessen bird droppings on cars.
