The works are to maintain the tree at a suitable size and height for its location. This will improve the sunlight to the rear garden which is currently being blocked and affecting the reasonable enjoyment and use if the garden area during the summer months. Permission to remove a Eucalyptus that has been cut very badly over the years and is rather unpleasant to look at. Its branches are now close to the house and overhanging gutters. The new owners are looking to landscape and plant new trees and bushes if the tree is removed. The tree is no more than 15 years old
