T1 Elm - The tree is presenting problems for the builders repairing the chimneys. Scaffolding is up above the roof and the problem was not previously foreseen. The tree is too tall also for the proximity to the house. We prepose a 4m reduction in height.

Conifer hedge - remove to ground level. This hedge reduces light for a neighbour and ourselves. It also prevents any growth beneath its canopy. Our plan is to replace the hedge with a modest sized deciduous flowering cherry tree and a raised vegetable growing bed.

T1 is a willow overhanging a residential car parking area. It has been reported that several branches have fallen out recently, and on inspection, there is evidence of dead, decayed and broken stumps. Necrotic bark continues down the stem to approximately 4-5m above ground level, whereupon a cavity and corresponding reactive wound wood is being laid down. The suggested works, namely a heavy reduction, to remove the necrosis and soft decay, will alleviate the potential for further failure, while leaving the cavity with very little weight upon it, as natural habitat. T1 - Willow Remove stem leaning over parking space number 5, back to approximately 5 metres in height, to remove dead, dying and broken branches overhanging car park
