To remove rotten wood and trim back oak tree from hitting next door house and hitting cars on the road. To trim back to boundary fence to stop falling branches.

I would like to fell the Ash tree that sits on the boundary of the group preservation order in my back garden (G5). Reasons for wanting to carry out this work - 1) The tree now sits as part of a privately owned and maintained garden and would significantly improve this amenity if it were felled without impacting on the special character of the woodland behind it. 2) The group TPO refers to woodland, however this tree is not part of the woodland it is a stand alone tree - maybe it was part of the woodland in 1951 when the order was put in place but now is part of a maintained garden. 3) In the preservation order, it says that an OS map of Worcestershire from 1924 was used. I'm not sure that this tree would have been there then as when the tree inspector visited the site, he estimated the tree to be between 50 and 80 years old. If the tree had been planted at time of the TPO, it would have been very young but now is far too big to be in a back garden. 4) The health of the tree is not very good. It only grows on one side due to lack of light as the 'none-growth side' is shaded by the nearby woodland. There are many dead branches which often fall. This causes me great concern as my children and pets often play in the garden and I worry for their safety. 5) It is a very large tree which is very close to my house, electric cables (the electricity company have needed to cut back branches in the past) and overhangs a shared driveway. Neighbours have complained about branches falling onto their cars. 6) The tree inspector advised me that ash trees do not respond well to being reduced in size so this would not be an option. 7) All four properties adjacent to the tree (1, 2, 3, 4 Church Cottage) would benefit from greater sunlight in their gardens. I would not want to replant anything in its place as the area is surrounded by many trees and it also sits on the bank of the stream where subsidence could be an issue.

oak tree located on rear boundary of 14 elmhurst close b975xu and 54 chesterton close b975xs, tree has major die back in the crown with large sections of dead, we originally quoted to just dead wood however there is evidence of inonotus dryadeus in the buttress and lower stem, because of location of tree near house and also growing over a public pathway we recommend felling. i have spoken with Gavin Boyes and he has said he will priorities application in view of its health

Horse chestnut located on rear boundary of house in woodland area, our client has had. Work done previously on this tree to reduce it back slightly towards boundary line, we are requesting the same work to be carried out as was done roughly 3/4 years ago. It would probably work out as a 1.5 mtr reduction back to where it has been done previously.

T1 oak tree at front of 10 burford road, tree is on boundary line of house and council land, property owner would like whole tree reduced by 30% and a dead wood is required as it has some very large pieces, tree is overhanging rd and public footpath, also some lower branches would be advisable to remove as they are growing through utility lines.. there is also a large old wound on one of the main stems this needs to be checked for any signs of decay.

Pruning of branches, where overhanging on top of wires/ very close to house. Cedars G1 (i) Trim branches overhanging neighbouring property boundary (Number 12 College Road). (iv) Reduce weight on bough of tree which hangs over play centre. (v) Trim branches overhanging neighbouring property boundary (Number 8 College Road). T1- Ash tree to north of house on boundary with no 22 Lechlade Close to be reduced by 10% to give 2 metres of clearance between houses.

Oak Tree - Mature tree on rear boundary - Large limb has split from the top and fallen into the garden, we will remove the failed limb and tidy other broken branches however the crown has been left unbalanced. The tree is twin stemmed from around 10ft with one leader extending towards the house. Crown reduce remainder by up to 3m (or to previous pruning points) to ease weight and re-balance the crown.

Large Lime Tree immediately to rear of house and in boundary hedge running along Hartford Road. (1) Reduce height by 3 metres (2) Reduce length of side branches to restore shape of crown. (3) Remove lower branches that are hitting the house.
