There are a number of lime trees (7) covered by TPO at this site (all marked on attached sketch location map. They have been previously pollarded and we would like to pollard to previous pollarded points. Approximate height 7 metres. The crowns and foliage are touching windows, roofs and guttering in many places. Some branches are very low over the public footpath

Silver Birch ( T4) - Fell due to: 1) Structural damage to brick wall. This is now beggining to crack despite being built with a plinth over tree roots. 2) Overhanging branches with neighbours garage. 3) Complaints from neighbours regarding the amount of silver birch seeds that are shed during the summer / autumn months and are causing a nuisance when windows are open. We wish to replace the tree by planting a mature sapling next to the silver birch roots. We would welcome the guidance of the tree officer as to the type and size that would be appropriate Yew ( T3) : Reduction of approximately 25% to rebalance the tree following part felling by a neighbour / BT on opposite side. Lime tree ( T2) : to prune back some of the overhanging minor branches at base of the tree. ( Do not own tree as based in hagley community fields.)
