We are seeking Listed building consent for the following proposed improvements to the House. We propose to create a new access footpath link to an existing footpath leading to the front door. We also propose to re-establish a previously filled in opening from the Lounge into the rear Garden. As the property is a three storey dwelling, we proposed to replacing the modern existing veneered doors with new 4 panelled doors more in keeping with a building of the age. We propose to convert one of the bedrooms into an Ensuite and Dressing Room to the master bedroom. To reduce the noise from Worcester Road, an internal secondary glazing is proposed.

We are proposing the replacement of two existing timber framed windows at 1 Shurnock Barns. We are proposing to replace them with like for like timber frames as the existing frames are now rotten and damaged. They will have the same specifications and finish both internally and externally to match not only this property, but the same as all other dwellings in Shurnock Barns. Therefore there can be no impact on the curtilage surrounding that of Shurnock Court. The proposed replacements will have no structural impact on the building or affect the existing line of the property.
