Conversion of part of barn to create dwellinghouse

Replacement window, and internal works to create 1x master bathroom and 2x en-suite bathrooms to facilitate conversion of the upper floors to a dwelling under Class G of Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the General Permitted Development Order 2015

We are seeking Listed building consent to improve four elements of this building. It is our intention to add a new entrance hallway by introducing a new glazed wall into the lounge. We propose to move the boiler from the lounge into a new cloakroom. To reduce noise from Worcester Road, a new secondary line of internal glazing is proposed to Ground & Second floor and to replace the poor performing existing First floor internal line of glazing. As the property is a three storey dwelling, we propose to bring it up to building regulation standard for fire by replacing some of the internal doors with new fire doors, to match the existing style.

Arrow Cottage sits within the curtilage of the Grade 2 listed building Moor Green Hall and was converted into a dwelling in the early 2000s. The proposed works are ; 1) Replace imitation garage door with window inserted, with a full height glazed screen and glazed door. New window / door to sit within the existing structural opening. 2) Remove partition wall of the downstairs toilet within open plan kitchen. Remove WC and basin.
