Weeping Willow T1 as shown on attached plan (TPO Tree Ident Number unknown) Reduce canopy to allow access for pilling rig to install the retaining wall required for the junction improvement works approved as part of the approved 470 home residential Development known as Whitford Green, Whitford Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire We have undertaken air-spade site investigations to determine extent of root growth and geotechnical site investigations have been undertaken to aid the design of the retaining wall. To minimalise the impact of the wall a king post system is to be utilised but it necessary to have three pile locations on the edge of the canopy of the weeping willow to allow access for the piling rig. (See Attached Plan) For the works near the willow tree the piling rig is to be located on the existing highway at a lower level to minimalise the impact and requirement for pruning. The exact extent of pruning will be agreed on site with the Bromsgrove Tree Officer, but from our site visit and the information currently available we would suggest at a reduction of up to 5 limbs by up to 2m of their overall length (6m) to the southern and eastern side of the tree. It should be noted that we are happy to either undertake an all round crown reduction of this tree, or to only prune the limbs that are required to allow access for the piling rig, whichever option is deemed most appropriate by the Bromsgrove tree officer. We would be happy to meet the Bromsgrove Tree Officer on site to discuss this TPO application during the consultation period. We would suggest that condition is attached that requires final approval for the extent of works by the Bromsgrove tree officer. The pruning would be undertaken following the guidance of the tree officer and follow the guidance within BS3998 (2012)

This part of house has been moving a lot. 2 The trunk is 5 metres from the west wall of the house and cracks have opened up in the two adjacent rooms. Hartley House is grade 2 listed. For the sake of the house 1 & 2 should be felled. 3 Is a christmas tree, planted about 50 years ago and is very close to the house. If permission is given to remove 1 & 2, we would assess 3 afterwards. This may need to be felled. 4 & 5 Yew trees used to be kept to about 2.4metres. these have not been cut for 7-8 years. permission to return to original height. 6 Group of Norwegian Spruce. About 40 of them were planted about 40 years ago. The trees are about 10 - 15 meters tall and block light to the fruit trees. We would like to remove a selected few, some are too close to others and a few to let more light to the fruit trees. About 15%. 6 or 7 trees.

T1 Sycamore - Reduction by 25% / 2-2.5m Approx. The tree is now encroaching on the house. T2 Spruce - Removal. A non native species that has no amenity value to the area.

Cut crown back on tree T1 away from the house at No. 59 - crown almost touching house. Lift crown on tree T2.

Beech trees in neighbouring garden which have overhanging branches and block sun during summer months. I wish my arborist to trim and thin out to provide more light in our garden. The land on which the trees sit is on an unoccupied house which has been empty for many years. Permission had been given by the owners.

T10 - Oak tree- in front-drive overhanging house. Request to reduce the whole tree by 30% to reshape, and remove dead wood to restore access to footpath side of the property. T9- Oak tree in the back garden, remove 2X bottom branches raising canopy and remove dead wood, will reduce excessive shading to the property.

Oak 1 - Located at the side of the garden causes very excessive shading and branches growing out towards the house. The tree needs to have a major reduction in mass to reduce the shading and stop the branches from growing toward the house. Oak 2 - Located at the rear of the garden causes very excessive shading. The Tree needs to be cut back to reduce the shading.

Proposed work: To reduce the crown of 30 approx 40' Willow Trees (marked on map) to original pruning points. to remove epicormic growth from lower trunk. Reason for work: Excessive shading of garden and house. By reducing crown will allow more light and to neighbouring property.

Tree works required as per attached report. As planning permission to build a house this close to a tree of this size would not be allowed under current building regulations, my prefered option would be to have the tree felled by an approved tree surgeon. If this is not possible then a significant reduction in the size of the tree inline with the attached report and risk assessment would be the minimum required to maintain adequate compliance with health and safety issues. Not only does the tree overshadow my house, but the canopy covers the public walkway with significant and heavy deadwood branches, and is almost touching the property on the opposite side of the walkway. Tree report recommends work below not a Fell Laterally reduce branch tips to give 3m clearance from adjacent houses. Shape cuts into the remainder of the crown to leave a rounded overall form. No height reduction required. Crown lift by removal of secondary branches only to 5m above the ground level next to 11 Newton Close. Remove all deadwood greater than 2cm diamete

T1: large beech tree. reduction of branches heading toward house by no more than 2M to reduce leaf ingress into gutters, improve light penetration and in the long term reduce the weight pulling the tree toward the house. T2: conifer. reduce by half; appox 3M, to stop it interfering with finer specimen of oak above and to keep it an appropriate ascetic size for underplanted shrubs and trees in that border
