Condition Number(s): 1 Conditions(s) Removal: When the work started on site it became apparent that the gable features to the roof were in a dilapidated and unstable condition. The scheme as proposed meant that the features would not have been supported by the roof structure, which would have increased their instability. The complexity and delicate nature of the features meant that works to retain them would be cost prohibitive in terms of waterproofing to the new mansard roof structure.
