Moat Ryecroft Lane Fowlmere Cambridgeshire
Retrospective - All trees along this section of Ryecroft lane/edge of moat consisting mainly of Elm Trees - cut back the overhanging branches growing towards roadway, pavement and houses on the opposite side of the road by 4-6m. This would alleviate the weight and sail caused by the heavy ivy growth covering the trees. This would enable us to retain the habitat, but eliminate the threat of trees falling and failing causing harm to the public. Dutch Elm Disease is rife within the moat with several trees failing regularly.

T1 Common Beech. This is a retrospective application following an investigation to complete the dismantle of the tree, which had been started prior to consent due to a clerical error. The tree is dead and the plan is to reduce the trunk to around 3m to be retained as a habitat and to replace the tree with a Black Walnut.

Retrospective 5 day notice: TPO 0006 (2003) G7: Two sycamore trees to fell. He has 2 split union sycamores in his rear that are subject to a TPO ( Number 06/03/SC group 7) which are in severe decline/ dead. That are needing to be removed as they have already dropped large limbs causing damage to my customers property. They are overhanging the neighbours property/ house and also in close proximity to public footpath and road way. I hope this is the correct way to go about getting these works approved quickly as there is a high risk of more serious damage occurring with the trees being left. I have supplied a sketch plan of site and also image of the trees in question
