230724/TTCA Hawthorne one the left side of the garden facing the house - Fell We are putting a new wall in front of the house and doing repairs to the brickwork and guttering. We would like to remove the tree in the process as we fear that it is interfering with drainage, which has caused damage to the house in the past.

Having consulted TH Tree Surgery, we would like to lift the crown to 5.5 metres over the road and pedestrian path, and to take it two metres back from the phone line and house on the other side. 2.Old walnut at the back of the garden of 18 High Street, growing close to a building on the Old Rectory's site (now the Landmark School). We propose to lift the crown to a height of 2 metres in order to free it from this position.

T1 Blue Spruce - Fell . The roots are a trip hazard and are lifting the main path to the house

5x Plum Trees - Large specimens with heavy limbs growing over fence line into 3rd party gardens causing significant damage to both fences and sheds. With risk of damage to walls. Fell all 5 trees to 0.5m from ground level, this is to allow regeneration to unmanaaged trees. Due to poor garden access, all waste and works to be undertaken from Henry Giles House car park.

T1 Walnut - Tree more exposed due to removal of large Ash trees. Crown reduce all extraneous (longest) laterals by approximately 2m. Reduce limb toward house back to sub-branch (approximately 3m from main stem).

T3 Alder, T4 Alder and T5 Alder (TPO/05/2023) Reduce height on all trees to allow trees to stand at 8 metres and remove branches growing towards the house to give a clearance of 4 metres. After we moved into this House, we found that the front eaves and the back roof keep on dripping. According to the inspection of the operator (from the Hill and Cambridge City Council co developer) on 16 March, it is because of the accumulation of leaves, flowers and fruits in the drains, since the three big trees too high even cover all the roof. Even after cleaned, it will happen again monthly. Please give us permission to have tree top trimming so that the three trees are just lower that the roof bottom (i.e. the horizontal rainwater collection pipes), in order to prevent roof drains from being blocked and to protect the roof structure.
