The proposal offers a transformative vision to create an integrated cultural centre through the intergration of the existing auditorium and museum spaces. The key alterations include: the reallocation of the original historic building entrance, the development of accessible routes and lifts servicing all floors, improved capacity and comfort to auditorium, new bar and cafe spaces, improved staff and performer facilities within Station Back Lane extension and the creation of a 'sense of arrival' to chesterfield through the creation of a Corporation St Link Gallery extension

Construction of a cantilevered steelwork structure above ground floor clubhouse. Supporting steel columns into designed foundations with lattice girder beams and cold rolled steel sections to floor, walls, roof. Glazed and cladded facades. Use of building to be educational.
