External and internal alterations to 5 Snow Hill together with demolition and new build associated with the change of use of a police station to a hotel with ancillary uses including: (i) refurbishment of facade to Snow Hill and the retained facade to Cock Lane; (ii) partial demolition, rebuilding and extension to provide a building ranging from 6 to 8 storeys, plus new plant at roof level; (iii) extension of existing sub-basement; and other ancillary works. (Amendment to scheme approved under 20/00933/LBC, for design amendments including the retention of existing western boundary wall, set back of the upper levels of the west elevation and atrium, and reduction of the footprint of the Snow Hill mansard roof, together with associated changes including to greening, modification to plant layout on the seventh floor, and realignment of windows on the east and south elevations).

Submission of details of: materials to be used on the external surfaces of the building; proposed new facade (including typical details of the fenestration and entrances); different facade treatments and courtyard elevations; stonework; ground floor elevations including shopfronts; ground floor entrances; windows, window louvres and external joinery; dormer windows; soffits, handrails and balustrades; all alterations to the existing retained facade; junctions with adjoining premises; plant and ductwork to serve the A3 / C1 use(s); rooftop plant enclosure; external surfaces within the site boundary (including hard and soft landscaping); service entrance doors to Creed Lane; rainwater drainage and measures for the prevention of rainwater run-off onto the public highway; the removal, storage, restoration and relocation of the cartouche to Creed Lane; internal access ramps at ground floor level (including ramp lengths, gradients and level changes) pursuant condition 11 (parts a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, m, n, p, q, r, s, t) of planning permission 17/01207/FULMAJ dated 13 February 2019 (ADDITIONAL AND REVISED DETAILS).
