Erection of a blue plaque to commemorate the site of the first offices of the RNLI.

Conversion of the existing building to a hotel with ancillary uses, including internal and external refurbishment, erection of a glazed roof over the courtyard, lowering of part of courtyard to basement level 2, conversion of basements, provision of cycle parking, refuse and recycling storage, replacement UKPN substation, landscaping and all associated works.

Alterations to and refurbishment of the existing Grade II* listed Daily Express Building at 120 Fleet Street, including works to detach the building from the River Court with demolition of part of linking floorplate and structure from basement level 01 to level 06, demolition of roof and installation of new roof with associated roof garden, erection of new north facade, retention of south-east curved corner and part demolition of existing east facade from ground level to level 05, erection of new facade and shopfront, demolition of level 06 landing and extension to existing oval staircase to provide access to new roof with new core on north side incorporating new lift between roof top level and basement level 01, installation of new staircase between rooftop level and basement level 02, demolition of mezzanine at basement level 01, removal of internal partitions and associated works.

Internal and external works including: i) erection of glazed internal partitioning and installation of two air conditioning units to the centre right unit at fourth floor; ii) erection of glazed internal partitioning, installation of skirting and installation of two air conditioning units to the centre right unit at fifth floor; iii) installation of skirting and installation of two air conditioning units to the rear right unit at fifth floor; and (iv) installation of three external condensers within the rear right lightwell of building.

(i) Temporary removal and storage of existing windows and secondary glazing; (ii) temporary removal and storage of external level 5 balustrade; (iii) removal of asbestos panels behind window boxes; and (iv) erection of scaffolding and ties to the building.
