Works comprising the installation of new plant services; replacement / refurbishment of windows; and internal alterations associated with the refurbishment and fire safety works to reception area and third and fifth floor offices.

The Scope of Works include; Strip out and refurbishment of Third Floor West office spaces to include new washrooms, showers, a tea point and meeting rooms. Removal of identified asbestos from existing soffits. Installation of new secondary glazing across Third Floor West to compliment the fenestration of the heritage facade. Installation of secondary steel work to support overhead services. Installation of new raised access floor and associated finishes. Installation of new MEPH services and suspended metal mesh and plasterboard ceilings.

Removal of existing mezzanine floor and insertion of replacement floor, alterations to the fenestration on Shoe Lane at pavement level, insertion of an opening in the internalised east elevation of City Temple at lower ground and mezzanine level to facilitate linkage with Morley House, insertion of louvres on the Plumtree Court elevation; enlargement and underpinning existing foundations and additional column foundations; new Atrium junction detail between hotel and City Temple Church; and installation of new plant in association with the change of use of the lower ground and mezzanine floor to office space.

Installation of vertical blade blinds to two office windows and the installation of an acoustic ventilation grille to office partition.

Refurbishment of the existing building for continued office use including the reconstruction of the rear ground extension; new rear terrace; rationalisation of plant equipment; replacement of windows; internal alterations; upgrades to services, fabric repairs and altered decorations; and conversion of the third and fourth floors to ancillary accommodation for The Mercers' Company (as per 15/01308/FULL and 15/01309/LBC).

Internal alterations to improve the office, disabled WC and kitchen. This includes taking down and rebuilding two later partitions blocking up one doorway, replacing inappropriate glazing in two sash windows to the kitchen. Further works include replacing lighting and electrical power sources data cabling etc. removal of a modern ceiling light feature in the office. Replacement of existing vinyl sheet and carpet floor finishes.

Refurbishment and upgrade works to four windows associated with the second floor office and associated installation of internal vertical shutters.

Internal and external alterations associated with the conversion of the North Block to a function venue, museum, office space and archive store (Sui Generis) including: (i) repair works; (ii) window alteration and replacement: (iii) rooftop alterations including the formation of a rooftop plant enclosure; (iv) the formation of an access ramp; (v) internal reconfiguration to include the removal and insertion of partitions.

Replacement of existing windows and fenestration (excluding west elevation) and refurbishment of internal office floorspace at first to seventh floor levels, including cores and circulation spaces, to upgrade working areas to modern standards.

Internal and external alterations associated with the change of use of the Gatehouse to office space (Class E use) including repair and refurbishment works, the installation of a new sash window within an existing opening, the removal of existing partitions and the insertion of new partitions.
