Variation of condition 1 of planning permission dated 4th October 2022 (RN 22/00448/FULL) for the demolition of the existing hipped roof and construction of a roof extension, a rear extension involving the infill of an existing undercroft area at ground floor, the replacement of an existing link building (between the building fronting Chapel Side and Esca House to the rear) and an additional second floor storey, and the excavation of a basement under the main building, in association with the change of use of the ground and first to residential flats (Class C3). Removal of part of the existing roof and attic space to create a roof terrace and rooflight and screen to front elevation. Alterations to front and rear elevation windows and doors. Namely, repositioning balustrade and flank wall extended.

Variation of Conditions 31 and 32 of planning permission dated 30 March 2022 (21/07642/FULL) for the demolition of existing mansard roof and roof level plant and construction of two storey vertical roof addition with extensions at fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh floor levels for additional office (Class B1) floorspace. Use of the lower ground and basement level for flexible/alternative office (Class B1)/retail (Class A1)/leisure uses (Class D2); car parking, cycle parking, ancillary office uses and mechanical plant. Alterations to the existing building including new windows and entrance, new terraces to eighth and tenth floor levels and new plant enclosure at roof level and associated works; and amendments to car parking provision (retention of the public car park), alterations to the cycle parking provision and basement layouts and reduction in flexible commercial floorspace; namely, to amend the wording of Conditions 31 and 32 to require the landscaping of the first floor terrace to be carried out in accordance with the submitted details.
