H - Hawthorn Tree/Bush W - Wild Service Tree Trees are overgrown and not maintained. I wish to lop all trees/bushes to 1.8m to allow for better light to be allowed into my garden, replacement fence panels to be put into place (some damaged by overgrown trees) and to allow for fresh growth.

Replace the current fencing with security fencing and the removal of tree.

To the left of the house, between the corner and the boundary fence there is a small island of shrubs / small trees, none of which are particularly good specimens. They all requested to be removed to make way for a new garden layout, including new fence/paths and landscaping. The large variegated Holly and the Burgundy Berberis are to be retained. Then new more appropriate species are planned to be planted when landscaping is completed. T1- Buddleia ...remove/fell. T2 - Conifer / Thuja ... remove/fell. T3 - Hawthorn ... remove/fell. T4 - Lilac ... remove/fell. T5 - Holly ... remove/fell. T6 - Acer ... remove/fell T7 - Berberis - remove/fell. T8 - Euonymus ... remo ve/fell. T9 - Birch ...remove /fell, as there are concerns it is close to pavement/path, and it needs removing for new fence erection and landscaping/garden path.

T3 Common Ash Tag 323 Moderate lean over adjacent footpath. Asymmetric crown with long end weighted laterals, minor stress cracking showing along 3 major south facing limbs 2 m reduction + deadwood T4 Common Ash Tag 324 Moderate leaning tree overhanging footpath to north. Heavily ivy clad from base to upper crown. Second stem to east failed leaving large basal wound, some response to wound occlusion. Minor localised root plate heave on south side, lifting up to 1.5m from base of tree. Fell to ground. T4a Common Ash Immediately adj to T4. Limb to come off. T5 Common Ash Tag 325 Twin stem with tight basal fork, leaning to the north-east towards footpath, ivy clad. North stem has failed at 8m, east stem grown long and leggy with minor stress cracking on underside of primary lateral over path/park entrance Reduce in line with fence and footpath T6 Common Ash Tag 326 Very tall leggy stem on edge of woodland. Heavily ivy clad stem from base to upper crown. Monolith to 6 metres T6a Common Ash Another Ash between T6 & T7 on plan leaning across footpath. Heavy ivy and some dead wood. Monolith to 6 metres T6b Common Ash Another Ash between T6 & T7 on plan leaning across footpath. Heavy ivy clad. Two breaks and lots of deadwood. Indian Bean Tree (Catalpa Bignonioi) T11 20% Crown Reduction as proportionally too big, resulting in darkening the garden and overhanging the boundary fence.

Sycamore (T1) - fell because of bark inclusion to heavy side leaning towards property. Conifer (T2) - fell because quick growing, was planted as old Xmas tree, now blocking light to neighbours gardens, and sap to neighbours car roof. Sycamore (T3) - fell branches between fence and wall as causing damage to passing delivery vans and eventually would topple wall into road. Please note, Sycamore T4 & T5 on the sketch would remain untouched to retain the tree outlook of garden, and they pose no damage or danger to the property, passing vehicles or neighbours.

T1 Horse Chestnut - Prune to remove tertiary lateral branches that overhang the boundary fence and parking area. Prune back to viable branch unions or back to secondary branch retaining the branch collar and branch bark ridge working to BS:3998 T2 Horse Chestnut - Remove large secondary branch overhanging the boundary and parking area. Prune back to branch collar/branch bark ridge keeping intact branch collar working to BS:3998 T3 Horse Chestnut - Pruning of small tertiary branches that overhang the boundary fence and parking area. Prune back to viable branch unions or back to secondary branch retaining the branch collar and branch bark ridge working to BS:3998 T4 Horse Chestnut - Remove large secondary branch that overhangs the boundary fence and parking area. Prune back to branch collar/branch bark ridge keeping intact branch collar working to BS:3998 All pruning to manage the excessive overhang and help improve light and space while reducing tree debris falling on cars and driveways. Due to the nature of the nuisance that trees are causing I don't think branch extension reductions on the overhanging limbs would be beneficial as this will cause additional regrowth to branches that are already causing a nuisance. Therefore I have recommended whole branch removal to limit regrowth within the vicinity of the branch removed.
