To summarise the application and proposed tree work: Rear Garden - North Boundary Tree No. 1 - Walnut (Juglans regia) Fell (Sectional Dismantle) Cut stump as close to ground level General . All tree work will be carried out in accordance with BS3998 . The tree obscures the view over the valley. There is another adjacent Walnut tree which will be replace this specimen and does not obscure the view. . On approval, date of tree work can be advised to allow tree officer to visit

T1 - beech - Fell , This tree is located in a small garden and is close to the building and encroaching cables. G1 - group of neighboring trees to be cut back to boundary. T2- maple - clear away from communal seating area to allow for more light and reduce the bird defecation on the garden furniture. G2 - Conifers - Reduce group of conifers planted on the boundary by 40% in height and maintain as a hedge. These trees have been planted as a screen on the boundary, however they are now very tall and competing with the neighbouring trees. A reduction in height will not only allow for easier maintenance, it will allow more light to the communal area and space for the neighbouring trees to develop. T4 - Ash - fell - Removal of large ash tree, its removal will benefit the communal area by providing more light, reduce the bird defecation on the garden furniture.

Conifer close to boundary - Remove due to excessive size and proximity to neighbours outbuilding

1 - Yew - Side back to driveway edge to allow access. 2 - Holly - Poor location, fell to allow LGV access on drive 3 - Box - Poor specimen and location, fell 4 - yew - Poor specimen and location, proximity to building fell to 3ft 5 - Yew - Reduce to approx 5m to allow regeneration of a smaller crown, tree to be retained at a more manageable size. 6 - approx 5x fruit trees - Reduce to 3m height to allow regeneration of a lower crown, allow for fruit to be used and prevent weight and weather damage. 7 & 8 - Ash dieback present in both trees, fell. 9 - Yew - Poor location and specimen, impacting on growth of Beech tree, fell 10 - Ash - Preliminary stage Ash dieback in Upper crown, Poor location due to proposed future works on property, fell and replant british native species to replace on site. 11 - Prunus, mixed species - fell front row of Prunus trees and shrubs to 'get back' lawned area. Trees have been heavily reduced previously and now unfit for purpose/location. 12 - mixed species - Reduce rear row of Prunus and Field Maple by 50% to establish boundary mixed hedgeline.

Goat willow - cut back to boundary

To the left of the house, between the corner and the boundary fence there is a small island of shrubs / small trees, none of which are particularly good specimens. They all requested to be removed to make way for a new garden layout, including new fence/paths and landscaping. The large variegated Holly and the Burgundy Berberis are to be retained. Then new more appropriate species are planned to be planted when landscaping is completed. T1- Buddleia ...remove/fell. T2 - Conifer / Thuja ... remove/fell. T3 - Hawthorn ... remove/fell. T4 - Lilac ... remove/fell. T5 - Holly ... remove/fell. T6 - Acer ... remove/fell T7 - Berberis - remove/fell. T8 - Euonymus ... remo ve/fell. T9 - Birch ...remove /fell, as there are concerns it is close to pavement/path, and it needs removing for new fence erection and landscaping/garden path.

The (Eucalyptus) tree is circled in blue on the sketch plan. The red line demarcates the boundary of the property. Advice from Tree surgeon: Eucalyptus: Leaning over building in neighbouring property. All weight over neighbour's property. Remove (back to main stem), 2x lowest limbs overhanging neighbouring building. Reduce crown by 4 metres to reduce weight of all limbs, thus reducing risk of limb or tree failure.
