The repair and conversion of the existing Listed Gatehouse to provide residential accommodation; internal alterations to the reconstructed Rose Inn Building to provide office / retail accommodation (Class E (g) (i) and Class E (a, b and c); Construction of an infill building between the north gable end of the Gatehouse and the west gable end of the Rose Inn Building; Construction of a new 'L' shape 2 and 3 storey wing from the south gable end of the Gatehouse to accommodate residential units for the adjacent University.

Change of use from student accommodation to a) ground floor food retail and takeaway and kitchens, b) first floor restaurant, c) bar with potential entertainment area and d) roof level to be a new created forming 'open' area for seating use and drink/food area.
