Demolition of existing bungalow and construction of a two storey dwelling with associated accessibility adaptions and residential carers accommodation within the dwelling and external ramp.

Change of use of first floor of Police House (museum exhibit, currently under construction) to provide residential accommodation for museum staff (visual security checks, alarm responses, and reporting livestock issues). Ground floors of the Police Houses, the Police Office and the gardens to function as publicly accessible museum exhibits. First floor of one Police House to provide staff residential accommodation, and the opposing Police House to provide staff offices.

Planning permission was granted under reference PL/5/2011/0070 for the construction of barn, menage and chalet for workers' residential accommodation. Condition 3 of that permission required the removal of the chalet after 3 years of the date of the permission (granted on 10th June 2011). That condition was not complied with, and the chalet has been in continuous permanent occupation by the owners of Mayfield Stables since it was constructed in 2011. A lawful development certificate is sought for the use of the chalet as a C3 use.
