Internal and external alterations to facilitate the conversion of the premises to a catering education facility at ground floor, with commercial restaurant and retail space. Upper floors providing training support, job creation and business start up space and extension for a new lift.

New 200mm dia. Intake and extract spiral ductwork installed for retail use at ground level. Ductwork to route from Retail at ground level, penetrate through to first floor and out the external wall to a flat roof.

Refurbishment of retail unit to include restoration of existing shopfront with replacement of glass and internal works to include installation of partition wall to form office; installation of new ceiling, new internal security shutter; boarding over existing walls, internal decoration; installation of ventilation and cables through rear walls; and replacement timber lintel above rear door.

Listed building consent to allow internal alterations for the change of use of upper floors to a 5 bed HMO (use class C4), retail to remain at ground floor and installation of new access door in existing shop front.
