T1, Ash : dbh. 76cm, pollard at the highest suitable pollard points, just above the previous historical pollarding points, with as small as is possible targeted pruning cuts. T2, Horse chestnut : dbh 1.2m. Reduce crown growing to the north by no more than 2.5m. Maximum diameter of pruning cut 75mm. T3, Lime : dbh 60cm Remove deadwood on property side, along with pruning back the branches by up to 1.5m, off of the neighbouring South side boundary roof, with maximum pruning cuts of no more than 75mm. T4, Strawberry/Red horse Chestnut tree : dbh 60cm. Thin the crown by up to 15% with pruning cuts of up to no more than 50mm.

T1, Beech tree : To prune back all the branches which are growing towards and touching the gable wall and roof of the last property of Ernsborough Gardens making natural target pruning cuts of up to 50 mm in diameter and removing 2m; branch lengths to give clearance to the property. T2, Beech tree : To prune back 1 x branch reducing the end weight and leverage of this branch and to improve aesthetics making 1 cut of 50 mm in diameter and removing 2m branch length. T3, Cherry tree : To prune back to give a half a metre clearance inside the boundary wall reducing the end weight and leverage of all branches making natural target pruning cuts of up 40 mm in diameter. T4, Holly tree : To prune back to give a half a metre clearance inside the boundary wall reducing the end weight and leverage of all branches making natural target pruning cuts of up 50 mm in diameter. D1, Dead Maple tree : To dismantle this tree to ground level. D2, Dead Yew tree : To dismantle this tree to ground level. Reason for works : To maintain public highway safety and to improve the aesthetics of the trees and to prevent future damage to neighbouring properties.

T1. Ash. This tree is infected with Ganoderma applanatum and Inonotus hispidus, these bracket fungi are evidence along with the lack of foliage in the canopy that the tree's base is decaying, the tree has previously shed a large codominant leader, so we are applying to have the tree dismantled and removed, due to it's proximity to high traffic and foot fall. T2 Horse chestnut. This multi stemmed tree we seek to prune back the branches by up to 1.5m, off, of the neighbouring South side boundary roof, with maximum pruning cuts of no more than 75mm. T3 Lime. Remove deadwood on property side, along with pruning back the branches by up to 1.5m, off of the neighbouring South side boundary roof, with maximum pruning cuts of no more than 75mm. T4 Strawberry/Red horse Chestnut tree. This tree has significant decay at the base on the SW side, after using a nylon hammer I was able to conclude that the decay is more extensive than is visually evident and as such, I would like to thin the crown by up to 15% with pruning cuts of up to no more than 75mm, to lessen the sail effect and chances of future failure.

Field maple on the western aspect of the site at 87 on the boundary with 89a. Identified as T8 on plan; propose coppicing the tree to prevent squirrels gaining access to the roof; no plan to replant tree in this location as coppicing will allow ongoing survival of the tree; squirrels have caused extensive damage to the property with the cost mounting into thousands of pounds and causing a fire hazard; whilst the squirrels can still access the roof space there is risk of ongoing damage despite having fitted rodent/bird protection to solar panels.

T1, Sycamore : Crown lift secondary branches on south side to give 3m clearance to neighbouring roof. Reason: to achieve a space of approximately 3m between roof and tree which is free of branches. T,2 Cherry : Reduce low over extended limb back to a point above the boundary wall. Reason to reduce excessive shading.
