T1 - Sycamore, crown reduce by 3m, MDC 75mm T2 - Cherry, crown reduce by 1-2m, MDC 50mm T3 - Holly, Trim low foliage away from roof, MDC 25mm Reason for works: T1 is particularly large and dominant over neighbouring garden, some limbs are significantly long and heavy - reduce to alleviate weight stresses T2 is a large specimen tree for its location, main union at 1m above ground level is showing signs of stress, reduce to prevent limb breakage and preserve the shape and amenity value of the tree. T3 is growing adjacent to nearby garage and is touching the roof, trim to gain clearance.

T1, Holm Oak : crown lift over garage by removing first 4 secondary branches from limb over roof.

T1, Lime : Remove northern stem, making one cut approximately 400mm in diameter. Remove one western low primary branch making one cut approximately 100mm in diameter. Remove approximately 5 western branches at approximately 50mm in diameter to achieve approximately 1.5 metres clearance above the garage of no. 32.

T1, Oak : Reduce southern aspect of tree that overhangs 'Copper Glow' by approximately 3m, to appropriate growth points 1m to the north of the apex of garage roof; maximum diameter of cut 80mm.

T1, Walnut : Raise crown over garage roof to give 1.5m clearance. T2, Sycamore : Fell

Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission 22/1065/FUL (Demolition of single garage and store, construction of replacement garage with leisure facility above and associated landscaping) to remove eucalyptus tree and replace it with more suitable species.

T5, Oak : Crown lift to no more than 4m above ground level by end tipping; maximum diameter of cuts (MDC) no more than 50mm; reduce lateral crown growing to the west by no more than 1.5m to ensure clearance of between 1 to 1.5m from the garage as per the attached photograph; MDC 50mm.

T2 is to contain and to favour the younger Dawyck Beech adjacent. T3 is significantly overhanging the garage and property "Beechcroft", removal of its lowest south easterly limb and to prune the adjacent limb to reduce exposure after limb removal is considered appropriate management of the mature tree and would have little significance for the tree or its amenity value.
