T1: Oak - raise crown over the gardens up to a height of 5m from ground level. Remove limb growing on eastern side. Reduce crown by up to 2m to leave a tree with a finished height of 8m and a 3m gap from the house. Restricting cut size to 75mm diameter.

Horse chestnut reduction - Reduce by 2m only on the east side of the tree leaning over the roof of the house. Cut to suitable growth points to preserve health and form of the tree, thinning and dead wooding will also be carried out where necessary.

T1, Oak : reduce north and eastern aspect by 2m, maximum diameter of cut (MDC) 25mm; remove major hazardous deadwood. T2, Beech : reduce northern aspect by 2m, reduce 1x limb growing north east by 2.5m, MDC 25mm T3, Beech : reduce northern aspect by 2.5m, remove crossing limb on southern aspect back to source, remove limb growing west back to source, MDC 50mm. Remove major hazardous deadwood. T4, Oak : reduce northern aspect by 2m, MDC 40mm; remove major hazardous deadwood overhanging Burwood House only, inspect upper portion of northern canopy and remove snapped branch if appropriate. T5, Beech : reduce northern aspect by up to 2m, MDC 25mm. T6, Tulip Tree : remove northern stem back to source near ground level and crown reduce southern stem by 3m in height and lateral spread by 1.5m.

General pruning of Yew tree that had its crown / height removed in 2016 under application 16/1185/TRE. This application is to remove the growth since the works under 16/1185/TRE with reshaping to give the appearance of a yew tree rather than a hedge, in accordance with the request of the tree's owner Nicola and David Meyrick of the Coach House EX12 3HS. This yew tree significantly obscures the view of 1 Eastcroft, EX12 3HS - if this application is successful, please could continuous approval be considered to keep this yew tree at the height approved by 16/1185/TRE to avoid new applications every 3 to 4 years as the yew tree grows again.

T1, Ash, T2 ash, T3 ash: dismantle all three trees to ground level as they are too close to the house and there is a risk of them falling onto the house and causing damage/harm.

T1: Oak - reduce crown by approximately 2.5 - 3m to previous pruning points, maximum diameter cuts 50mm. Create approximately 1.5m of clearance from house.

G1 - Beech trees: 1) stems nearest the house - crown lift to a height equivalent to the eaves of the house, removing small branches up to approx. 25mm in diameter. 2) reduction of lateral canopy extent over the garden on the south side by up to 2-3m, maximum diameter cuts of 45mm. 3) Height reduction by up to 2m, maximum diameter cuts of 45mm. G2 - beech trees: 1) crown lift above access road to approximately 5m for vehicle access. 2) remove stems directly opposite oak tree to allow more space for vehiclular acess. 3) thin out stems 138mm in diameter at chest height and remove stems up to 200mm at chest height.

Liquidambar : crown reduce height to 1.5m below lines; side of crown over pavement cut back to a 30cm inside roadside curb and other sides reduced to a tidier dome. Magnolia : reduce crown height to 4m to encourage lower growth to avoid wind damage and leave a 1.5m clearance from main house (around line of veranda).

T1, Oak: Remove approximately 30% of the foliage area of the tree by via thinning. This pruning should be achieved by: - reduce lowest limb growing towards house by 4m, back to the two side branches making a 175mm diameter pruning cut; - prune back branch over topping lowest branch growing towards house to prevent shading of lower branch; - prune remainder of crown by reduction via thinning, seeking to removing 25-35% of overall foliage area; - pruning to target most heavily extended and laterally growing branches by removing 3-6m branch sections making pruning cuts of around 100mm in diameter.

T1: Reduce canopy spread on east side by up to 2m, where it encroaches on the house, & reduce the overall height of the tree by approx. 3m. T2: Lowest short branch that overhangs the garden - retain. 2nd lowest extended branch over the garden - reduce by approx. 4m to a suitable growth point or side branch. T3: Oak : reduce the whole leader by 3-4m.
