G1, Sycamore : crown lift to 5m above ground level over access driveway only. Maximum diameter of cut (MDC) 100mm G2, Bay : coppice remaining stems following recent stem failure over driveway. G3, Cypress : reduce height by approximately 3m and trim both sides to contain. T4, Sycamore : dismantle in sections to near ground level. Reason for works: G1 - Access has become difficult for larger vehicles using the driveway to access the other properties. G2 - Safety, recent stem failure has left the remaining stems compromised G3 - Overgrown Cypress boundary hedge, reducing the entire line of trees to contain the height and spread, to encourage thickening for a screen. T4 - Weak union at base of the tree, compression fork with elements of decay on southern side.

T1, Crab apple on west boundary near back door between log store and garden shed : cut to ground due to outgrowing the space. T2, Pittosporum on western boundary approximately level with front of house : crown reduced to 16 feet (24 feet at time of applying). Reason is to prevent crown getting too leggy and sparse

Eucalyptus tree located against boundary wall on West Hill Lane - fell tree removing it from site. Replace with two Native trees (Oak and Linen tree) in locations to be confirmed within the Boundary of the Property. Reason - protection of historic Cob wall and to save adjacent native trees currently being killed by the Eucalyptus and the canopy of the tree has put telecoms lines under threat

T1 - Karinasta- reduce to approx. height of 9 metres and max diameter cuts 5cm G1- Group of fruit trees- de ivy, prune and shape because they have been let go and are creating excessive shading. T2 - Monterey Cypress - reduce in height by 3m and thin crown back to 50mm pruning points to reduce excessive shading on garden. crown lifting 4 metres as discussed. T3 - Cherry tree - Removal as it has fallen out of the garden onto private access and very close to track. T4 - Willow - Prune back over hanging branches of western side to in line with boundary to suitable growth point, (permission approved from Boston Tea Party).

2 Holm Oaks along the boundary between Prospect House and Uplands. The reason for the work is that the trees are taking away substantial light from Uplands and causing much shading of the house. Prune the western canopies to upright growth close to the boundary. It may be necessary to make pruning cuts to either side of the boundary line to allow proper placement of target pruning cuts

Tree species: Chamaecyparis lawsonia (Lawson Cypress) Number of trees: 20 ( forming a barrier of approx. 100 feet) Work description: To reduce the height of these conifers by approx. 10 to 15 feet Reasons: These trees were originally planted to act as a boundary hedge. In 2002 planning permission was given to reduce the height by up to 20 feet, and over the last 19 years they have grown back. They now produce excessive shading of the garden and are vulnerable to high winds.

T1, Laburnum : To dismantle to ground level as the main stem and root system are starting to interfere with the historic boundary wall and also the supporting stone pillar

T1 - Yew, fell to ground level Reason : Removal due to poor form and boundary wall remediation works N.B. There is an Ash tree that is in poor condition situated to the rear of the garden. It is intended to remove this tree but it is considered to be outside of the conservation area so not included within this notification.
