Non material amendment to planning approval 3/21/2939/REM - The proposed house type amendments are associated with a change to the Part O (Overheating) and Part L (Energy) requirements of Building Regulations, which, from 15 June 2023, require all new properties to be fitted with an alternative heating source, increased cavity thickness and review of the extent of glazing, to address issues of overheating through compliance with thermal modelling. Remove gas boilers, and deliver air source heat pumps across all new dwellings.
