37 Church Street Nassington Peterborough PE8 6QG

1 - Magnolia - Cut down and remove root. Large tree over 8m x 8m. The branches spread up to the house and restrict access to back door. It is far too big for its position near the house. Mature height 9m. 2 - Yew Tree - Cut down and remove root. It is 7.2m x 2m tall, near the house and blocking light bedroom and kitchen windows. Mature height 12m. 3 - Sitka Spruce Tree - Cut down and remove root. This is a large tree which is only going to grow more. It is within 1.5m of the house. We have a raised bump in the kitchen floor which may be a root from the tree. Generally we feel this is too near the house and is affecting the foundations. Mature height 18m. 4 - Leyandi Cypress- Cut down and remove root. Medium sized tree 6m x 2m. This is in the wrong place and will grow up 20m. We wish to use this space by the fence to plant shrubs and a herbaceous border. Our house grade 2 listed built in 1600's so the foundations are not deep so our concern is that large mature trees could affect the foundations. We also are keen to increase the light into the house as the large trees are blocking the light as shown in the photos provided. We hope to replant the area with shrubs and herbs in keeping with the house.

The Vicarage Wood Street Higham Ferrers Rushden NN10 8DL

T1-Cycamore :Pollard to previous points- Due to proximity to stone wall and historical pollarding of this specimen creating decay in the upper trunk. T2-Yew : Pollard to 3m monolith- Due to proximity to wall and house this specimen requires reducing. However due to the lack of internal growth points and the desire to maintain the tree as a smaller specimen in the future, allowing it to regrow a new smaller crown is the best option to retain the tree long term. T3-Whitebeam : Crown reduction by 1.5-2.5m- The client wishes to produce a smaller compact tree.

Cherry (T1) Remove tree in front to ground level due to it blocking light into the house and very close to the house. Tree is currently small and not TPO worthy. Apple Tree (T2) Remove tree in rear to ground level - because it is in poor vigour, (diseased with white sticky stuff affecting garden and next door too) and is blocking light into the house and takes up a lot of space in a small terraced garden. Tree is currently small and not TPO worthy.
