Mitigation planting to be in accordance with proposal from East Suffolk Senior Ecologist dated 1st July 2022 - providing a 3m wide strip of Emorsegate Seeds Flowering Lawn Mixture EL1 to the east side of the public open space. We consider this to be a minor amendment from the wording in Condition 20 of the decision notice to application ref. DC/19/2370/VOC. The correspondence referred to above together with a datasheet for the lawn mixture have been submitted with this application. - 2.) Hoop top fencing to be omitted from the perimeter of the public open space. As removal of the fence could be considered permitted development, we consider this to be a minor amendment.

Replacement of fencing along the boundary between 2 Laurel Cottages and 3 Laurel Cottages (along the northen boundary of 3 Laurel Cottages). The fencing is split in to 2 portions. The first portion (light blue on plan) is to replace the existing close-board fence with one exceeding the 2m permitted development limit by 0.25m (the addition of a 30cm high trellis section to a 1.95m high fence). The second portion (dark blue on plan) is to replace the existing post and rail fence with a 1.95m high close-board fence. These works are proposed to reinstate the mutual privacy following construction of an extension at 2 Laurel Cottages (ref DC/20/4704/FUL).
