The proposal is to create a purpose-built facility to support the operational forestry work of Forestry England in managing this site and surrounding parts of the forest estate by providing mess facilities and administration space of approximately 186m2 GEFA of floor space. The existing operational beat base on the site will be demolished following completion of the construction of the new building.
