Construction of a stand-alone shed for the purpose of timber drying and storage of timber, kayaks and garden equipment. The shed is rectangular in plan, 8.0 m by 3.0 m, with a pitched roof, overall height 2.97 m. In the interests of sustainability and economy, it will reuse the roof tiles and A-frames from an old garage elsewhere on the site, due for demolition. The roof is supported on timber columns. The timber columns and timber edging to the roof are painted black. The proposal includes continuing an 800 mm high earth bank along the boundary with the road, topped with a hedge.

In 2016, I constructed a shed in my rear garden. It measures approximately 510cm wide x 250cm deep x 350cm to the peak of the roof (height to eves is 200cm). The base is concrete to a depth of 30cm with brick and cement footings. Construction is timber frame with dark brown shiplap board outer cladding and a pantile roof.

To construct a 3m x 2.5m x 2.5m wooden, pitch roof shed in the north eastern corner of my privately owned piece of land, for the purposes of commercially selling hot/cold drinks and snacks. The shed will be placed on top of the original concrete base of the previous construction. The original services are still in place such as the water and electrical supply and drainage.
