TPO 135/1990 1) Fell dead Horse Chestnut tree in front garden TPO number unknown. The Landscape Officer has undertaken a site visit and agreed that the tree is dead and can be removed. A dead tree eating fungus on the trunk confirmed that it has unfortunately died. Replacement agreed with a small Mountain Ash to be planted at lease 2m from current dead tree. Due to size of tree the trunk will be felled to an approximate height of 1 metre. 2) Row of Sycamore trees on highway land beyond rear boundary- Raise canopy of trees to approx 10 metres above ground level, cut back to boundary/trunk. The lower branches are currently growing over the boundary, causing considerable overhang, shading and disruption to our garden.

(T1 & T2) 2x Sycamores -Coppice and manage regrowth at an appropriate size. Reason: The neighbours were previously given permission to cut their side back to the boundary line resulting in approx. 1/2 of the crown removed on one side leaving the trees severely unbalanced with all the weight leaning over shared drive way and within striking distance of their property.
